ENAiKOON provides leading technology for telematics and telemetry applications at an affordable price. They use satellite positioning by means of GPS, satellite communication via Inmarsat, and other communication aided by mobile broadcast networks (GSM: Global System for Mobile Communication). This allows automatic controls, measurements, and regulations, as well as global positioning to be conducted to an accuracy of a few metres.
Control commands can be issued via mobile data communication (GSM) or satellite communication, and results and events can be recorded via the internet, phone, fax, e-mail, text message (SMS), data call, or GPRS. This makes labour-intensive monitoring possible and tests to be minimised or avoided completely. In some cases, it is the first time that effective monitoring is made possible with this technology.
Telematics and telemetry technology has been developing continuously, and as a result, the corresponding devices have become affordable and reliable.
