Hello, this is your car!

Car robbers start to have a difficult time: the Berlin based high tech company ENAiKOON enablesconsumers to utilize latest satellite technology for remote surveillance.

ENAiKOON v-locator is the name of the new all-in-one device for cars, caravans, bikes or boats.
Each vehicle can be localized world wide with a precission of 10 to 15 meters with GPS signals. The device is available in three different versions.
And - it can talk: if you want to know where your vehicle is in this moment, you can request an SMS with a position report. Or you call ENAiKOON tele-pos (tel.: +49 1805 / 665 009) and a friendly automated voice tells you immediately the current position of your vehicle: "your vehicle is curently located in 10785 Berlin near by Miller Road 13 and is heading towards the south with a speed of 34 km/h.

If you want to try it, please call the above mentioned number, talk vehicle number 30 51 12 17 and PIN 1210 into the phone or type it on the keyboard of your phone and then listen to the announcement.

In adition, the integrated driver logbook saves tax for you. Because it reports each simple route based on 100% reliable data, the German tax authorities accept it as an alternative to manually recorded reports.

The reliability of the system was recently proven in Berlin: just after a few kilometers German police could recover a stolen BMW without any damage: an ENAiKOON v-locator was onboard.

The ideal combination: ENAiKOON v-locator and a security call centre!

On of the important features of the ENAiKOON v-locator is its cabability to be connected with a security call centre of Group4Falck. This allows to know about movements of the vehicle even if you are not peronally available. Switch your mobile phone off an do more pleasant things - Group4Falck cares for your vehicle.
Group4Falck has intensively tested the ENAiKOON produces and will offer them to its customers at attractive conditions.

Attractive Mobile Phone Rates increase M2M Usage

Markus Semm, president of Enaikoon: "All market research companies say the same: it exists a tremendous need for M2M communication with an incridble number of different applications form "A" like alarm call entres to "Z" like acces control.
The current turn over talks another language: most of the providers of M2M communication are small companies which serve business niches.
This seems to change now:
due to the availability of the first M2M devices with GSM and GPRS support incuding the implementation of voice technology even heavy users pay less than 10 Euros per month now including the basic fee for the SIM card."

Where is he driving?

Which transportation company does not know that: a carriage takes much more time than expected - the customer is angry and the company looses money with this order. Later the management finds out, that the truck driver took his time to see his girl friend.

Not too bad compared with the number of hichhikings with subsequent complete loss of the goods on the truck eventually including the truck itself.

This has an end now: with ENAiKOON fleet-control-web and the small yellow box ENAiKOON locate-28 you can pre-define a route and transmit this route to the unit in the vehicle over the air.

As soon as the data arrives there, the device constanly compares the planned route with the real position of the vehicle. If the unit detects a discrepancy, it sends an alert to the office, to a security call centre or to another recipient and continues from now on to send the latest position of the vehicle regularly.

In addition, the VTU can call predefined phone numbers and play a pre-recorded message or it can send an SMS. Each PC connected to the internet can be used to launch a mapping software which displays the exact position of the vehicle.

This allows the rescue team to approach the vehicle on the shortest way in order to save the driver, the vehicle and the goods.

The device can also be used to constantly check if a driver is still able to reach its final position in time, if it is too hot or too cold in the truck, if there are unwanted people in the truck and a lot more.

The onboad unit costs approx. 550 Euros and causes additional costs of less than 20 Euros per month due to the GPRS technology which is used and which allows to send a position report every 5 kilometers for one complete month (included in this price).
The software needed for monitoring the vehicles costs approx. 450 Euros for 1 vehicle and 1.990 Euros for an unlimited number of vehicles.

In addition, the device can be used for remote control, remote surveillance, and for fleet management purposes.
The device immediately sends an alert if valuable goods like yachts, construction vehicles or cars leave a pre-defined areal and it informs the security call centre automatically if an alarm is detected.

Taxis or transporters for valuable goods can be equiped with an alarm button. With satellite positioning the position of the vehicle can be determined within seconds. In addition, the device calls the user and informs him about certain statuses or about the location of the device.

This information can also be transmitted by SMS.

In addition to existing software the user can develop its own application with a programming language that is comparable with a mixture of BASIC and Pascal.

April 19th, 2003, Uckermark Kurier

The mobile bio diesel fuel stations described in this article are supervised with ENAiKOON remote modules.

Land district administrator Klemens Schmitz seemed to be very happy when ElbeOel Prignitz AG (EOP) opened the first patented and by Quru GmbH (Prenzlau) developed mobile bio diesel fuel station in the business park Prenzlau with one hour of free refuelling.

Not only that land district administrator Schmitz was one of the first who filled his car with bio diesel. "This development fits very well into the initiative of Uckermark and Barnim BARUM 111" he said.

With this initiative the region reacts on the requirement to be amongst the first who deal with regenerative energy. "This is why the local government supported this investment significantly" said Rolf Quednau, president of Quru.

Just eight months have been spent between the first idea and a working mobile fuel station. (...)

It´s not just bio diesel from the area of Uckermark which can be bought from the new fuel stations. Up to now, Uckermark just provides 5.000 out of 80.000 tons of oilseed rape that EOP needs for its annual production of bio diesel.
