The core application of the ENAiKOON middleware is the ENAiKOON M2M-commserver. The application handles the bidirectional data forwarding between all ENAiKOON applications as well as 3rd party applications on one side and all ENAiKOON tracking devices and mobile phone applications on the other side.
GPRS, UMTS, SMS, email and INMARSAT can be used for real time radio data transmission at very low cost even if every few kilometers or minutes data is transmitted from the mobile device to the backend system.
The ENAiKOON M2M-commserver stores all data for a minimum of 12 months and optionally even longer. Forwarding of the data from/to 3rd party applications like dispatching software, billing software, ERP software etc. is handled by the ENAiKOON M2M-commserver extension named ENAiKOON data-forwarder.
