Worldwide GPS positioning and monitoring of vehicles, even where no mobile communications reception is available
ENAiKOON inmarsat-D transmits GPS positioning and telematics data to an internet server via Inmarsat satellites. This functions all over the world, that is, even in locations where no mobile communications reception is available (eg. on the ocean, in the desert etc.).
ENAiKOON inmarsat-locate-02 is a combination of a GPS telematics device with INMARSAT transmission, and a GPS telematics device with mobile communications transmission.
It enables communication via mobile reception in populated areas where GSM reception is available, automatically switching to satellite communication as soon as the mobile reception is no longer available.
By the way – the transmission of telematics data via satellite is less expensive than you think!
