ENAiKOON v-locator-mobile ist a software für Blackberry® und Windows® Mobile phones.

• Transmit GPS positions from mobile phone to the ENAiKOON M2M-commserver
• Exchange of text messages between the dispatching department and the driver
• Upload status text phrases from the dispatching centre to the mobile phones
• Transmit status reports from the mobile phone to the dispatching centre
• Upload driving jobs from the dispatching centre to the mobile phone
• Confirm/deny driving jobs by the driver
• Directions for the driver regarding the driving route (where applicable, optimised for tolls, bridge heights and maximum weights etc.)
• Minimisation of communications costs by using GPRS, and of installation expenses in vehicles
• Voice calls between the scheduling department and drivers are possible, but are minimised to a large extent, for reasons of cost (eg. through software-controlled call blocks in the mobile device)

The ENAiKOON v-locator-mobile complete solution is targeted at contractors who want to use a mobile phone to communicate with, schedule and monitor vehicles.

The benefit of this solution is that a second SIM card for a black box in the vehicle is not required, and that a display for text communication is available at low cost.

The disadvantage of this solution is that the device is not permanently connected to the vehicle.
