Assignment of templates for time based alarming to vehicles

Any amount of templates can be assigned to one or more vehicles here.

The logic behind time based alarming control:

When an alarm event appears it will be checked if the vehicle which activated an alarm has an assigned template.

  • An alarm will be sent If no template is assigned.
  • It will be checked if the alarm event is assigned to this template when a template is assigned.
  • The alarm will be sent if no template with the alarm event was found.
  • Time intervals will be checked for each template if templates with the alarm event were found. The alarm message won’t be sent if all the intervals are located outside of the alarm event.
  • The alarm will only be sent if at least one of the templates indicates a time interval, which includes the time of the alarm.

The alarm is in other words only disengaged if there is an existing template which contains the alarm and the alarm event appears outside of defined time interval of the template.

Adjustment for time based alarmings

You configure - as usual - an alarm.
Please note: An alarm will not be assigned by the configuration of a template and a allocation to a vehicle if an alarm has not been configured for a vehicle before.
