ENAiKOON provides leading technology for telematics and telemetry applications at an affordable price. ENAiKOON uses satellite positioning by means of GPS (Global Positioning System), satellite communication via INMARSAT and communication aided by mobile broadcast networks (GSM: Global System for Mobile Communication). This allows automatic controls, measurements and regulations, as well as global positioning, to be conducted exactly, down to a few metres.
Control commands can be issued via mobile data communication (GSM) or satellite communication, and results and events can be recorded – via the internet, telephone, facsimile, email, SMS, data call or GPRS. This allows labour-intensive monitoring and tests to be minimised or avoided completely, and in some cases makes effective monitoring possible for the first time.
The telematics and telemetry technology has been continuously developed, and the corresponding devices have become affordable and reliable. Mobile communication costs are small enough to be ignored. That’s why we certainly don’t view telematics as a niche solution: The cost-benefit relationship of the technology has developed in such a positive manner that today, there are already innumerable possible applications which can be realised efficiently.
